Long sleeve t-shirt with TAKU OBATA's monotype incorporated. This work, which consists of 6 monotype* followed by 6 ghost* was drawn for this collaboration. A part of the second monotype ghost is enlarged and the image on the front and the logo part of the back are drawn to be interlocked. Original cotton jersey body is used. 
*Monotype - Monotype is a printmaking technique that transfers the image drawn on a plate (acrylic plate, etc.) to paper by drawing directly on the plate with ink and then pressing the paper on top of it. Although it is a printmaking technique, only one print can be made.
*Ghost - Ghost is a printmaking technique in which a new ink is added to the same plate (acrylic plate, etc.) on which the monotype was printed, and a new sheet of paper is placed on top and pressed, thereby transferring the image from the plate to the paper. The newly added image overlaps with the second image drawn on the first monotype. This second image is called a ghost because the amount of ink in the first monotype drawing is reduced by half in the second press, resulting in a lighter image. This is also a printmaking technique, but only one sheet can be created."
