" While I was looking for a technical method for printing and embroidery, I thought ‘anaglyph’ would be interesting as a traditional method. At first glance, Obata-kun's work is flat, but since it's a three-dimensional concept, I thought anaglyph would be the same. It's two-dimensional flat but it has certain depth. Obata-kun built up a child's trick, and he finished it as precision of the work. ” - Shinsuke Takizawa

" I think it's the first time I've taken an anaglyph so far. If you think about it from a sculptural point of view, you see it with two eyes, don't you? Even if you try to capture it with a camera, you can never express it, but when you put on 3D glasses, the picture pops out even though it's flat, so this can also be used as a spatial expression. That is the forgotten fun of anaglyphs. ” - Taku Obata
